Unveiling the Secrets of Prehistoric Resilience
New research spearheaded by Dr. Ariel Malinsky-Buller from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is reshaping our understanding of how prehistoric hunter-gatherers thrived in the Southern Caucasus from 57,000 to 27,000 years ago. The study proposes that survival strategies went beyond mere environmental adjustments. Instead, it highlights the importance of robust social networks, the ability to traverse long distances, and the sharing of knowledge as key factors that bolstered human resilience amid shifting climatic and ecological conditions.
