The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has introduced a new certification, the 'NISM Series-XXV-B', aimed at investment advisory professionals who primarily handle sales and client relations. This move seeks to ease operational burdens for financial institutions while upholding necessary compliance regulations. Meanwhile, those in key advisory positions will still be required to secure the more rigorous 'NISM Series-X-A' and 'X-B' certifications, ensuring a robust regulatory environment.
