Sebi Tackles Investor Complaints with Enhanced SCORES Platform
In May, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) made headway by addressing more than 5,500 investor complaints through its revamped SCORES platform, substantially reducing the backlog. The regulator encountered nearly 5,000 new complaints during the month, yet entities managed to respond within an impressive average of just five days.
The rollout of SCORES 2.0 has introduced multiple levels of review, aimed at ensuring quicker resolutions and better handling of grievances, ultimately enhancing investor satisfaction.
