SBI Plans to Secure Rs 60,000 Crore in FY27 Through Bond Issuance
The board of the State Bank of India has given the green light to a substantial fundraising initiative, aiming to gather up to Rs 60,000 crore this fiscal year. The bank plans to accomplish this through the issuance of long-term bonds, including Basel III-compliant Additional Tier 1 and Tier 2 Bonds.
These funds will be raised via both public offerings and private placements, targeting a mix of domestic and international investors throughout FY27.
