Binance Halts Crypto Services Across Multiple EU Nations

In a significant move, Binance announced on Thursday that it will cease operations in several European countries starting next week. The world's leading cryptocurrency exchange has struggled to obtain the necessary regulatory approval to continue its services within the European Union.

Despite its efforts, Binance revealed that it had submitted an application for authorization in Greece under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. However, the exchange has since retracted that application and indicated plans to pursue authorization in a different EU member state.
